I was born in St. Louis, MO.  Most of my working career was in law enforcement, in my earlier career I worked in management for F.W. I started my Law Enforcement career with the Dept. of Airports, LAX/LAWA on July 22, 1991 and attended the Rio Hondo Police Academy. I have worked various positions in my career including various specialize units.  I have held several ranks during my career including police officer, senior police officer, FTO officer, Sergeant, and Watch Commander at the Van Nuys and Ontario airports and OIC at the palmdale sub stations.  I was the only officer and Sergeant to have been assigned and worked at all four airports operated by the City of Los Angeles.

I am married with three adult children and also have four grandkids.  I have been married for 42 years.  I retired on March 6, 2015, and I am enjoying every minute of it.  My religious background is Christian / Baptist.  My union experience starts with being assoiated with Local 347 SEIU, LAAPOA, union rep/director Palmdale, union rep/director VNY, LAAPSA union rep/director VNY, and LAAPSA Vice President, LAX,ONT,VNY,PMD.
